The law firm of George J. Mallios, PC has been representing clients in serious bodily injury claims for over 40 years in Travis County and throughout Texas. Mr. Mallios has extensive experience in trucking cases, automobile collisions, drunk driver cases, medical malpractice, defective products, premises liability including slip and fall cases, dog bite claims, bicycle/motorcycle injuries, pedestrian injuries, and construction site claims.
Mr. Mallios is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating which is an objective indicator of a lawyer’s high ethical standards and professional ability generated by his peers and the judiciary in the United States and Canada. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1979 where he was rated the Outstanding Oral Advocate in 1977 and was a member of the Order of the Barristers. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri in St. Louis with a B.A. in Political Science.
Mr. Mallios is a member of the Capitol Area Trial Lawyers, Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and its Tort section, the Travis County Bar Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He has served over 15 years on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed in the Ninth Circuit for Federal Appellate work and is licensed to practice in the Federal Southern, Western, and Eastern Divisions in Texas and in all Texas state courts.
Mr. Mallios is an avid fisherman and does extensive volunteering for the Scouts of America. He is a recipient of the Capitol Area Council Silver Beaver Award in 2016 recognizing outstanding services by an adult in developing implementing Scouting opportunities for youth from rural and low-income backgrounds. He is married with nine children and sixteen grandchildren (and growing) and enjoys fly fishing, spending time with his family, camping, and music.
